Resources
Giving psychology away is a proud tradition in clinical psychology. So here's some free health resources I have drawn from my twenty two year career in mental health. These may be of help and interest when you are facing challenges in your own life.
Accessing these resources may prompt you to ask 'Can you experience therapy through reading an article' , a watching a video, listening to an audio programme or using an app? There seem significant differences between these two forms of receiving help. All of them seem to help in different ways.
If you are in an emergency, it is advised you, contact your GP and ask for an emergency appointment. The NHS 24 service provides urgent health advice for when your GP practice is closed just call 111. Alternatively present at any Accident and Emergency (A&E) department and ask for a mental health assessment. If you think that your or someone else's life is at risk you should phone 999 immediately.
